Who This Program Is For

This program is designed for fencers who are new to structured strength and conditioning. It is also suitable for fencers with limited access to equipment who want a clear, progressive training plan that supports fencing practice without unnecessary complexity.

The Essential Program provides an entry-level approach to physical preparation, focusing on developing fundamental strength, coordination and general conditioning in a safe and sustainable way.

What the Program Provides

How It Works

Remote Training

Training is delivered remotely via the TrueCoach app and is adapted to an entry-level context. Basic coach support is provided

Equipment

what is needed: dumbbells and/or kettlebells, skipping rope, a box and elastic bands, ideally a pull-up bar or TRX. Options are provided if some equipment is not available

Weekly Structure

You train two to three times per week to allow flexibility around fencing, school, or work commitments. Sessions typically last 45 to 60 minutes.

Physical Progression

Progress is monitored in the app by recording training results such as loads used, repetitions completed and effort.
